Longarm Quilting Services
Professional Machine Quilting. Our primary business is to provide quality machine quilting services for anyone who wants to see those unfinished quilt tops turned into a finished quilt. Whether it is a utilitarian quilt or custom heirloom quilt that you want, we have a solution for you.
We provide professional longarm quilting for your quilt tops. Maybe you have a completed top, or a collection of blocks that you inherited from your grandmother, found on ebay or at the local estate sale! Maybe you don't have time to finish them. We can take care of it for you.
Our services include custom designs, pantograph, meandering, stippling, and more.
pantograph or edge to edge (E2E) - A continuous line design worked from one edge of the quilt to the other, and repeated from top to bottom of the quilt. With this style of quilting the patchwork design is not used as a guide for the placement of the quilting pattern.
custom designs - This is where artistic skill is used to quilt your quilt based on the the quilt. This could include any combination of free-form feathers, meandering, fillers and so on.
background fillers - loops, puzzle pieces, curves, geometric designs that are done freehand in background areas. Gives texture appearance to the quilt.
free form - No pattern is used, the quilter moves the machine as in drawing, can be textures such as water, wood, or can be feathers, flower designs, and overall fills.
meandering - Continuous lines, used as overall pattern in specific areas.
stippling - Tiny meandering, continuous motion, used around appliqué, areas you wish to have a raised appearance. Usually less than 1/4" spacing between stippling lines.
echo quilting - 1/4" spaced repeating quilting used around appliqué or pieced work.
heirloom quilting - Dense custom quilting, usually containing stippling, motifs, and patterns to fit the quilt top. Very heavy quilting.
stitch in the ditch - Quilting in the seams of the pieced work of a quilt.
basting - Machine basting is a wonderful service for quilters who want to complete their own quilts. Now it is possible to enjoy your quilting, by hand or machine, without having to first spend time securing the three layers together.
