Reindeer Balls

I know, sounds crude, but they are quite delicious!!! Makes me think of the Saturday night Live skit about Pete Schwedie's Balls.....anyway, you take a whole package of oreos, a package of softened cream cheese, blend the oreos in the food processor until crumbs, add the cream cheese, you have this wonderful dark colored chocolate dough, chill, dip in white and or dark chocolate and enjoy!!! We started calling them reindeer balls because we made them at Christmas and they didin't have a name. Try them, you'll love them!!! (The dough is great even without the chocolate to dip in).

Ghost Poop

Oh Great! Now I can tell my kids that we can go from "ghost poop" in the fall (puffed popcorn mixed into white almond bark- yummy!) to "Reindeer Balls" in the winter.

Blueberry Cream Mold

First Part

Mix the Knox gelatin with 1/4 cup of cold water. DO NOT LET STAND LONG. Do not mix this until ready to use. Boil the sweet cream with 1 cup of sugar. Pour this over the Knox gelatin. Then add 1/2 pint sour cream and 1 tsp vanilla and mix. Pour this in the bottom of your mold or pan and set in the refrigerator until almost firm.

Second Part
Mix any flavor red jello with 1 cup boiling water. Add can of blueberries, juice and all.

Set aside to cool. Pour cooled blueberry section over the Knox gelatin mixture and put back in the refrigerator to set.
DOUBLE THIS FOR A 9” X 13” PAN.

Jackie's Chocolate Squares

In a medium pan over low heat, melt butterscotch and chocolate chipits. Remove from heat . Add peanuts and crushed potato chips to melted chipits. Mix well. Press into a buttered 9x13 pyrex pan. Cool
Cut into bard or break into pieces.. To DIE FOR

Chocolate Punch Bowl Cake

Spray 9" X 13" pan with cooking spray. Place cake mix, water, oil and eggs in large mixing bowl. Blend with an electric mixer on low speed for 1 minute. Stop the machine and scrape down the sides of bowl with spatula. Increase mixer speed to medium and beat for 2 minutes more. Pour batter into prepared pan, smoothing it out with spatiula. Bake cake at 350 degrees for 30 - 35 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Remove cake from the oven and cool completely, around 40 minutes. Meanwhile, place chocolate pudding mix and milk in large bowl and blend according to package directions. Set aside.  Remove cooled cake and crumble into 1" pieces with your hands. Place all the crumbles in the bottom of a large glass punch bowl. Pour Kahlua evenly over cake. Stir crumbles to evenly distribute the Kahlua soaked ones.  With spatula, spread the chocolate pudding on top of soaked cake, then spread cool whip over pudding.  Scatter toffee candy pieces over cool whip. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place in refrigerator. Chill at least 1 hour before serving. Serve with portions of cake with long spoon.

Enjoy!  Lillie

Okay, everyone must be really ready for dessert. This is a "make it in the pan" easiest and best chocolate cake ever. We got it out of a Chuck Wagon Marlboro Cook Book eons ago (like when we first got married 26 years ago) and was a primer for DH to learn how to cook by. Now he cooks anything and everything.

Had to break him in easy, as he's a 6'1" cowboy and I'm 5'1", and making "Cowboy Stuff" made it okay. Now he's almost a gourmet cook, very innovative, etc.

Stir Crazy Cake

Put flour, 1 1/2 cups sugar, cocoa, soda and salt into an "ungreased" 13x9x2 inch pan. Stir with a fork to mix, make 3 wells in the dry ingredients and pour in the oil in one well, vinegar in one and vanilla in one. Pour cold coffee over all ingredients and stir with a fork until well-mixed. DO NOT beat.

Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the top.

Bake in 350 degree oven for 35-40 minutes.

My variation makes it even more yummy is to take the dry ingredients except for the baking sode inro a mixing bowl, then add the liquids and then put in your soda. At that point it sorta bubbles and comes to life. Then my secret is to throw in a couple of handfuls of chocolate chips and some nuts and pour into that 13 x 9 pan. Stir mixture slightly. sorta folding thing together as the soda does the mixing. Just sorta fold your chocolate chips and nuts into it.

This is guaranteed to make it look like you've really cooked all day when really you've been quilting or on the computer too much. LOL. No need to frost it, either.

Course, since you've worked so hard on it, you have to try a piece. LOL. Hope I didn't leave anything out. I'm half asleep.
